I knew this would happen, but it makes me sad nonetheless. Only five more competition weekends to go before I can get back to reading whenever I want!

" data-orig-size="261,400" sizes="(max-width: 196px) 100vw, 196px" aperture="aperture" />Laura Purcell’s novel was creepy AF, but it dragged. I found myself wanting to read but only able to keep my eyes open for a few pages at a time. Now, this very well could have been the state of exhaustion from taking care of a new pup and various other activities occurring in my life right now. In fact, I hope this is the case because the story itself is rather terrifying and well-told. Have you read this one? Did you find yourself nodding off after a few pages or were you so engrossed that it kept you up past your bedtime?

Still nothing. It is difficult to decide not to finish a book when you aren’t reading anything.
