The only time I found time to read was before bed, and by then I was so tired I don’t even think I lasted five pages before I couldn’t keep open my eyes. I’m hoping the weekend and adjusting to this new schedule will mean being less tired next week so I can read again!

" data-orig-size="267,400" sizes="(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px" aperture="aperture" />I read one write-up that said the Caitlin Macy novel was similar to The House of Mirth. I think that is the only reason why I finished it. I have many issues with this novel, the least of which is the lack of interesting characters. In hindsight, this is one I should have set aside. I will stop being so stubborn about that one of these days!
The Carter Wilson novel was MUCH better. He got the idea from the Slenderman killing here in Wisconsin but told from the victim’s perspective. Quite fascinating and an intense read. I devoured it.
