It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? Button

To learn more about each book, just click on the book cover!I could say something about how quickly the end of the month came upon us, but I actually think January did not speed past like most of the months do. It was a busy month, but it did not seem like we were so busy that we got no downtime. It was rather nice. How about you? Did January speed past for you?
FINISHED SINCE THE LAST UPDATE:

" data-orig-size="264,400" sizes="(max-width: 198px) 100vw, 198px" aperture="aperture" />Sara Flannery Murphy’s debut novel is a subtle one. She keeps the details hazy, so that one is reading the book through the fog of Eurydice’s eyes as well as those of Sylvia. It is going to require some more thought on whether I actually enjoyed it.
I finally finished the Michel Faber on audio. Sadly, I should have stuck with my original assessment of the print version and ditched it. The experiment was a success though in validating my instincts when I do DNF a book!
The Meredith Jaeger novel is another one I probably should have DNF’d. It is everything I do not enjoy in women’s fiction. I felt guilty though since it was one of the rare occasions where the publisher reached out to me and I actually said I was interested.
