Two books may seem like a lot but I really finished the Fiona Barton novel late Sunday night, which means it took me all week to read the David Abrams. I did work on my cross-stitch project a lot this week, so I guess I can say I took solace in crafting rather than reading.

I was a huge fan of Fiona Barton’s first novel, but I think her second novel is even better. For those who weren’t impressed with her debut, I hope you give her a second chance.

The David Abrams was a heavy read but so, so good.
