Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, plus whatever else comes to mind. To learn more about each book, just click on the book cover!
Finished Last Week:

While Emma Hooper’s novel is already garnering comparisons to The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, it is such a different novel. Beautiful and sad, it is one I wish I had read a little more slowly in order to savor every poetic word. Eric Smith’s debut novel is fast-paced. A little simplistic for my taste, the cover more than makes up for the downfalls of the book. It is just so beautiful (the picture doesn’t do it justice). The Martian makes me happy. I loved it the first time I read it; I loved it on audio. Mark Watney is my hero. Victoria Aveyard has written an amazing debut novel. I don’t even care about the fact that it is the first in yet another trilogy, as it has been so long since I’ve had a book that I literally could not stop reading. Way to go, Ms. Aveyard.
Did Not Finish:

Caught by the archive/expiration date again! I really need a better method for catching these before they expire.

I absolutely love Travis Maddox. Will I love his brothers just as much? It is time to find out.
