This DNF is no fault of the book, or at least I think so. I admittedly did not get very far into it to determine the strength of the writing or the characters. I was pretty much turned off from the second line with its mention of a certain deity. Novels with a strong Christian element makes me squirrelly, and had I know that this one had a VERY strong Christian element, I would have stayed away from it completely. So, this might be an excellent book, or it might not be one. I only made it to page five before I could not handle it anymore.
