Verdict on It Feeds
Recap
The movie follows a clairvoyant woman haunted by her past. She has tried to leave that life behind her, but when a new case comes her way, she is forced to use her powers to find her daughter. However, the presence is stronger than anything she has faced before.
Best Parts
The movie mixes a couple of interesting ideas together. We get an evil entity connecting to people, a mystery behind why someone is keeping things secret and the connection with the undead. The connected entity is terrifying, even if it does require a few too many jump scares. The journey for answers is interesting, showing the darkness inside the characters.
Worst Parts
The movie does end up feeling like another point of view for an Insidious movie. However, it doesn’t connect the same way, as everything becomes more personal than the characters in that franchise. While it is interesting seeing the blend of ideas, not everything clicks the same way it could do.
Final Thoughts –It Feeds is a chilling, disturbing horror movie.
