Artist Christopher Puzio has created a new public art installation called Island Arbor located at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse on Harbor Island in San Diego, California.

Dedicated on May 14, 2013, Island Arbor is a 10x20x10 aluminum composition developed in response to owner’s vision of an arbor or trellis adjacent to their restaurant on San Diego Bay.

The result is a overhead composition that provides shade, patterned shadow and a compelling figural work, achieved by composing an overall form that melded both vertical supports with a horizontal shading element in one continuous surface comprised of 2800 singular welded elements.
