You can’t always trust those airbags in your vehicles to save you every time when an accident happens. Besides, airbags wont help if you accidentally hit a pedestrian with your car. Students at Hiroshima University thought about this problem and came up with a solution, but it wasn’t the brightest idea. They have designed a vehicle that protects both the driver and pedestrians from accidents by covering the whole thing with cushions. They call it, iSave-SC1.
As you can see, this three-wheeler is almost entirely covered with air-filled cushions. And, it can top up to about 50 kmph (31 mph) speed. Also, it can even take you 30 km far with single charge.
These students have tagged a 790,000-yen price for this vehicle. Which goes up for about $9,212 US dollars. Despite the human friendly design, lets just hope it wont hit the roads, because if it does, you will probably wish you get hit by a train.
