Is using a disabled toilet wrong?

I actually felt really bad when I read a post about a mom who was upset that people without a disability use toilets designed for disabled people without a care or thought. She has a disabled daughter and knows the importance of having those specially made facilities able and ready when they are needed.

I have used the disable toilets, they have more room inside and when I have been alone with a pushchair I feel safer taking it into the cubicle with me and then all too often there is a queue in the ladies, especially if there is only one toilet, its not laziness or me being ignorant the truth is when I need to go, I need to go.

After having 6 natural births you could say my lady garden area could do with a few stitches, I only have to sneeze or cough to dribble these days, when my bladder is full, it will burst a waterfall running down my leg if I don’t dash into a loo. If it means using a disabled toilet then I do without thinking.

I have never been in a disabled toilet to come out to find anyone else waiting to use it, I do feel I would be horrified to open the door to find a disabled person looking at me, wondering why I am using it while they have to wait, I would try to explain.

So my dear readers I ask you – Is using a disabled toilet wrong? Leave me a comment to let me know your views.
