The rumor mill is winding up about Nokia’s plans of launching a Windows RT tablet. So far, according to rumors this alleged tablet is said to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3Ghz with 10.1-inch display and 32 GB internal memory. Latest reports from The Verge claims Nokia already has planned an event to unveil this tablet on or around September 26 in New York. As far as these rumors and reports go, this seems to be happening soon.
And now the folks at WPCentral brings us what seems to be the first look at Nokia’s Windows tablet with these couple of blurry leaked photos, which confirms that the device will be getting “Windows RT” label as well as 4G LTE. It will also roll out via Verizon. The bright red design appears to represent Nokia’s bold approach on colors for its’ devices. All these fact’s leads me no choice but to believe this is the real thing.
With the success of Windows Phone devices, it’s not a surprise to expect a tablet from Nokia. However, considering how bad it went for Microsoft with it’s own Surface tablets, it’s hard to predict a future with Nokia tablets in everyone’s hands.
