OH LAWD!!!!! I saw the news article and my mouth literally gaped open. The American Medical Association has declared obesity a disease. Yeah I know. This isn’t the first time a medical organization has declared obesity a disease. The National Institutes of Health did it. So did the Social Security Administration, and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. But this is the AMA. A large group of medical doctors that we put our “trust ” in. LOL!!! I say this tongue in cheek but it’s really serious. A respected medical organization is now saying that obesity is a disorder caused by some malfunction.
