Is Caracter a Valuable Word Today?

By Familyfriends @familyfriends_

“A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.” Proverbs.12:4

Just to clarify…it could also have been written “a Husband of noble character”

On www.dictionary.reference.com you can read this about the word “Character”

noun

1. the aggregate of features and traits that form the individual nature of some person or thing.

2.one such feature or trait; characteristic.

3. moral or ethical quality: a man of fine, honorable character.

4.qualities of honesty, courage, or the like; integrity: It takes character to face up to a bully.

5. reputation: a stain on one’s character.

6. good repute.

7. an account of the qualities or peculiarities of a person or thing.

Isn’t it interesting that the word character is a noun, describing a person by their Verb/action in the daily life. I mean other describing words like brown skin, blue eyes, big feet or small ears are all attributes we get before we are born. But this describing word is something we develop during our life journey. It develops through our decisions and choices we make along the way. A persons true character is always showing in times of troubles.

A question pops up in my head…… is character a valuable word today. What is more important to described as for us in this world today?

Wealthy  or with Character

Thin  or with Character

Famous or with Character

FB likes  or with Character

It hit me anyway……what word would people use to describe me…… or you…….

What would Johan use to describe me as his wife?

God Bless you because He loves you
