If you have late June peonies blooming, then you’re lucky. Most variations bloom early in the month, and quickly too. We were quite lucky this year with our Sarah Bernhardt bush giving us thirty beautiful blooms, along with a fuchsia variety. Having freshly picked peonies is such a special treat, especially since they are one of my favorite flowers, and I loved having them in the house all month-long. I already cannot wait for next summer, when hopefully our two newly planted peonies will bloom even more lovely flowers. Here is just a few snippets of our garden peonies…
A bad storm hit just as the fuchsia peonies were blooming, so I was only able to photograph them wilted and wet.
