I had lunch with an acquaintance today who told me that Interpol has a great gift shop at its headquarters in Lyons.
"What a fun idea! Maybe I'll stop by the next time I drive to the south of France!" I said, thinking of my large family and Christmas.
"Oh, you can't just walk in. You have to be on their list, show ID, go through the procedures."
"Well, then you can buy me something next time you go!" I said. "What kind of thing do they have?"
"It's an international organization, so you don't have to pay VAT. So they have a huge wine selection."
