We had some gray rainy weather over the weekend, which I was super thankful for. We have a creek behind our apartment, and it just makes everything feel so perfect when you can hear the water running through it.
I bought these boots in Paris. We were there during sales, and I fell for these hard when I first saw them. I had just been put on medical leave a month prior so even though I loved them, it still took me two visits, plus 45 minutes of prancing around in them at the store, and looking at them in every mirror from every angle before I finally decided to take the plunge. I haven't looked back since - I mean, they were on sale, absolutely gorgeous leather, and comfortable.
This purse on the other hand wasn't such a process to decide on. Fermin took me to the store and said "which one is your favorite?" and I pointed to this one. He surprised me with it a few days later. There's no single method to choosing a favorite it seems; not just with shopping but with all things in life. I guess it's that intermittent reinforcement that keeps us checking our Instagram accounts every 40 minutes, our Facebook pages every 10, and checking our phones for that text from our special someone. It's the hope that this one time, perhaps unlike the last, will feed us that rush of endorphins that we constantly crave.
