Interior Gardens: Tillandsias

By Facingnorth
Interior gardens: Tillandsias Tillandsias are xerotropic - adapted to life in arid climates and part of their adaptation to these unique conditions is a waxy covering around their leaves to lock in moisture.  The effect is that many of them look gray and often silver. This is a Tillandsia andreana, a rather rare species with very very fine leaves. Interior gardens: TillandsiasInterior gardens: TillandsiasInterior gardens: TillandsiasInterior gardens: Tillandsias
