This Italian countryside house belong to photographer Federica Bottoli and architect Vittorio Longheu. The original two apartments were transformed into one space in order to accommodate both the family space and Federica's own studio. The owners' great passion for Mies Van der Rohe's work is revealed in the minimal approach towards the space. Traditional elements, such as the wooden beams in the kitchen or the old doors, were preserved. Few design pieces declined in neutral and brown color decorate the space. The only very contemporary element is the kitchen area.
