This week, the winners of the Cannes advertising awards were announced. For those not familiar with Cannes, it’s the most prestigious advertising award show out there. Ad work can be submitted into many categories, with the highest award being the Grand Prix, where one campaign wins awards in 5 categories: Integrated, Film, Direct, PR, and Radio.

I wanted to share one of my favorites of the Grand Prix winners. It’s a train-safety video done by McCann for the Australian Metro. The characters are cute; the tune is catchy. And the message is so simple.

Yes, they’ve managed to make gruesome things like guts look cute.
