There has been a ton a hard-hitting industry news lately – LinkedIn is making a move into predictive analytics with the acquisition of Refresh.io, Facebook showed off their A.I. at F8, RMIT researchers have developed a talking drone, and Amazon announced Dash, a service that exemplifies recent “internet of things” trends. In fact, here has been so much excited A.I.-centric chatter lately that even The Onion poked fun at the tech industry for it (funny thing is, that Onion article isn’t too far from the truth).
