Indulge in Tea Leigh’s Lovely New Video for ‘rushing In’ [premiere]

We know the story well: young and staggeringly drunk with love, we’re convinced our feelings could never change, but then, inevitably, they do. Hasty words and feelings of disorientation leave us with a tangled mess that only unravels with time, but eventually, we learn and grow and begin again. Tea Leigh’s “Rushing In” is a song about beauty in the form of catharsis and forgiveness culminating in rebirth, and we’re both honored and ecstatic to be premiering the lovely video for it.

“Rushing In”, the first single from Leigh’s upcoming LP, brings her flavor of dirty, sweet lo-fi folk into the studio, recording on tape so as to preserve her appealing, organic aesthetic. Tea Leigh’s ambrosial sound is, without fail, warm and enchanting, and her first ever music video is no exception. The new album was produced by Alex Busi and will be released by Zap Records on digital and vinyl formats soon. Be assured and be watchful — there are only good things to come from this one.
