Indoor Smores Drops Recipe

What do you mean I have an addiction to S’mores recipes?

It’s not like I’ve made S’mores Bars, S’mores Whoopie Pies, and S’mores Brownies. Oh, wait. Maybe I do have a problem.

So, I’ve got to share it! This is a wonderful, fast to fix snack to have on hand–and travels very well. It  may look like it would be messy and gooey but it isn’t! Whether you are planning an Indiana trip or need new lunch box snack ideas, this S’mores Drops recipe from Taste of Home is it!

Another wonderful recipe from a clipped Quick Cooking magazine: September/October 2005.

  • 4 Cups Golden Grahams Cereal
  • 1 1/2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/3 Cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  1. In a large bowl, mix together Cereal and Marshmallows. Set aside.
  2. Melt Chocolate Chips, Corn Syrup, and Butter together.
  3. Stir in Vanilla Extract.
  4. Pour over Cereal and Marshmallow mixture and mix well. It will not look as though it's going to be enough chocolate but it just takes time to mix it!
  5. Drop by Tablespoonfuls onto wax paper.
  6. Cool before storing in a covered container.
