India Through to Finals ! ~ SA Choke Again...

Posted on the 04 April 2014 by Sampathkumar Sampath
The happy news is that India has chased a good score and has won convincingly storming in to the finals, keeping their ‘no loss’ in tact.  In every major tournament, the chokers tag would chase them and SA have added one more to that ….. India are the current holders of the World Cup and the Champions Trophy and are chasing a third limited-overs crown while South Africa  were  aiming to break a major tournament hoodoo. They have not won a knockout game at an ICC event in 16 years and today, rain stayed away and they continued their form of loss. The two teams have progressed to the semi-finals in contrasting fashion. India have waltzed in there after winning all their matches comfortably. They are the only unbeaten team in the league stages. Their narrowest win came against West Indies - by seven wickets with two balls to spare.  Today Ashwin bowled well for 4-0-22-3 – clearly the hero was Virat Kohli with a great unflinching know.  The Indian batsmen have not so far been stretched as could be seen from the following
