India Mobile Congress to Debut in India Between September 27 – 29 in New Delhi

India Mobile Congress (IMC), the biggest international-level event in the area of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is coming to India for the first time.  IMC – 2017, which will commence on September 27 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi will be a three-day event that will be supported by Department of Telecom (DoT), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

The event aims to showcase the Indian telecom industry as a growing market to the world and highlight the opportunities and cutting-edge technologies that have come up as a result of years of innovation in this area.

The event will serve as an idle platform for the attendees to have an in-depth insight into the mobile industry, understand the specific areas of growth as well as comprehend the latest technological developments, next generation services and future trends.

The 3-day conference cum Exhibition, spread across an area of 15,000 square meters, will attract close to 24+ PSUs, 21+ Ministries, 1000+ start-ups, 8 Indian states, 5000 Delegates and a footfall of 3, 00,000. While International IT giant Google is also said to be participating as the Principle Title Sponsor, Deloitte will join it as a Knowledge Partner. In addition names like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Nokia, Huawei, Facebook, Accenture are some of the major exhibiters that will be a part of IMC 2017. In total, more than 300 exhibitors from across countries like – United States, United Kingdom, European Union, Canada, Japan, Israel, South Korea, France, Sweden, Bhutan and Finland have given their confirmation so far for IMC 2017.

In a nutshell, IMC is expected to make India a global destination for leaders where key players will discuss, deliberate and network, unveil excellence and lead policy decisions to build a vibrant eco-system. Exhibitors from across the globe are going to present their latest launches or display live demonstrations at the booths as well as at the Hospitality Suites.

The who’s who from the world’s some of the most sought-after organizations and representatives of global innovation hubs are slated to come to India in September, to attend the event.
