Hey guys!
I know, it's been a while. A very very LONG while. I don't know what's gotten into me lately. I'm still reading and everything, but the blog has become more than I want to deal with. I love blogging, I love talking about books and finding new authors. I just have nothing new and awesome to talk about except my reviews, and even those aren't enough anymore.
I do love the world of literature, very much. So much that I do have a happy announcement to go with my sad one. A wonderful author friend of mine made me realize something very important the other day. I'd never even thought about it before, but I want to be an editor. I've started the process and may be starting class as early as March 4th! That is another reason for this hiatus notice. Now that I'm working online and will be going to school online, I'm just not going to have the time to dedicate to the blog like I need to.
So... this is my official notice that I'll be on hiatus. I don't know how long it will last, or if I will even come back to it. I'd like to keep posting reviews but I may just save them for Amazon and GoodReads. I'll still be accepting review requests for anyone interested, just contact me through my email at [email protected].
For those of you who have won a prize in my last giveaway, they're coming soon! The next post office trip will cost me a nice $50 so I was waiting to do it all at once when I had the extra cash, which will be in a few days. To make up for the time it's taken, I'll be throwing in some extra goodies with your books. I hope that will suffice.
I appreciate all of your support during my blogging experience. It's been one hell of a year. I've met some amazing people, read some phenomenal books, and had some great times. 600 people actually subscribed to my little spot on the net, and to me that's a huge achievement. I love you guys, and I hope you'll continue to keep in touch via Facebook or Twitter or whichever site you frequent the most (all of my links are in the sidebar).
