As a large chunk of the music industry and music fans begin their migration south for the winter (otherwise known as SXSW), the time has come for some deeper reflection before the madness, excitement and, at times, frustration of navigating the festival begins. Often, this period of introspection takes place at 30,000 feet, staring out the plane window at the clouds or ground below.
