I finally get to share my project here on my blog.  Some of you may have seen the link from ImpressArt on my Cheryl’s Window Facebook Page and some of you probably saw some of the sneak peaks when I was playing and creating this.   However, I have to tell you that this is one of my favorite projects to date.   And this is one that will be displayed in ImpressArt CHA booth #733.   I’ll admit I didn’t take this picture; the professional photographer from ImpressArt did and they make it look even more stunning!

I had so much fun playing with the ImpressArt metal stamps.   They have many fonts to choose from and use hardened steel to create tools that will last a lifetime.   If you want to see detailed step-out directions, click HERE to go to ImpressArt site and view the project.

I’ll share a few more BTS (behind the scenes) photos with you as I share a View In My Studio.

One thing that really gave this character, was the use of Ten Second Studio’s Verday Paints.   I had a blast with the VerDay paints and painted a lot of things.  Not only did I age the silverware and then buffed off most of it for an aged, distressed look, I also patina’d this candlestick holder, which became the top of my windchime!

This plain metal planter became a gloriously aged planter for my garden.   And that little glass ornament…

became this lovely bauble for my Christmas tree this year.   Love this!

Since these were different metals, they all had to be primed first.  Even my silverware was primed.

And if you know anything about me, I had a blast with some powertools!

And all of this to create a lovely, musical windchime.   Here is a video so you can see how it sounds.

I hope you take the time to go see my project featured at ImpressArt and if you are at CHA, please stop by to see it in person!

Thanks for stopping by,
