You pop inside, place your order at the counter, then have a seat, and wait for your name to be called. It doesn't get any easier than that at The Viking in Monon, Indiana and, as you can probably tell from that scrumptious image of the pork tenderloin sandwich I had-it doesn't get much tastier either! That is one fabulous sandwich. It's thin and hangs out of the bun. It's hard to know just how to dig in to the thing but I did just fine. Our boys, of course, thought that was hilarious.

I went into my detail when I originally posted about The Viking but I thought I'd give you a little recap reminder to set your tummy to growling and your mind to planning! There's nothing fancy here. Clean and bright, there's ample seating. That's a good thing! This is a popular spot with the locals so if you happen to head in during the lunch time rush you will still be just fine. You may have a slightly longer wait but for food like this, how can you mind?

As you can see from the time of my visit, each day of the week had a coordinating special. The sides were really good, too. Did I mention there's even cold treats? It's possible we had a bit of ice cream for the road. I'll tell you later about the special place we carried out our order! Stay tuned for more Monon, Indiana fun!
