Almost Home Restaurant in Greencastle, Indiana was recommended to us so many times by so many people! It is obvious that locals love it–but would an out of towner enjoy it as well? The answer: oh my goodness YES!
This is the type of restaurant that you might visit once on a whim and think about it often ever-after! The pork tenderloin was excellent, the homemade potato chips were unbelievably good, and the dessert? Well, there’s a mighty fine lookin’ dessert tray at Almost Home Restaurant! But after hearing raves about the Strawberry Pizza, we were all in.
So stuffed from our delicious lunch, we decided to share a slice of Almost Home Restaurant’s award winning Strawberry Pizza. Big mistake! Apparently the three of us have a dessert stomach and gobbled it up. Later, the boys tortured their dad with talk of this excellent dessert–and I had to rub it in, too. It is one of the perks of marriage! Kidding aside, this Putnam County restaurant is located downtown, has loads of seating, and is a slightly upscale though casual dining option!
