The much awaited ‘Maestro’ Padma Bhushan Ilaya Raja Live in Concert in San Jose, to be held on Nov 11th 2012 (Sunday), has opened tickets sales and witnessed an unprecedented rush. Ms Vijaya Aasuri on behalf of BATA , Kalalaya and Swagath Entertainments, said that Bay Area is very fortunate that Padmabhushan Ilaya Raja has agreed to give a Live in Concert for the First time in USA and only one show in Bay area and organizers
are taking all the precautions in making the event a grand success and memorable. Vijaya said Online sales are opened though Tickets Master and On site sales at Box Office at HP Pavilion and the response has been overwhelming. On the 1st day with in 3 hrs, a record number of 1800 tickets were sold. And in the first 2 days more than 5000 tickets were sold. Vijaya said during the last 10 days ever since the announcement made, all the Organizing members are receiving phone calls, emails for bulk bookings and the response to tickets sales only showing the massive popularity Sri. Ilaya Raja has and requested all the fans and music lovers to book their tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
Some of India’s most popular and Nationally reputed singers like Sri Yesudas, Sri Hariharan, Ms Chitra, Sadhana Sargam, Sri Mano and youngsters like Karthik, Vijay Yesudas, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Kartik Raja are part of the singing team. Sri Ilaya Raja is bringing a 70 member crew and both Telugu & Tamil super hit songs will be featured.
