Iggy Azalea Discusses Cancelled Tour

With low tickets sold, opening acts dropping out and going to better rappers tours, postponing the tour, social media attacking you, pizza delievery guys giving your number to fans, it’s been a rough year for Iggy. One positive that happen this year is that she is now engaged to her boyfriend, which is nice. Now she just needs to get married and leave the music game. Iggy has finally come clean or somewhat clean on why she cancelled her first major tour, which in my eyes wasn’t smart for her. But I’ll tell y’all why after the jump.

Via Seventeen:

…I just feel I deserve a break. I’ve been going non-stop for the past two years, nearly every single day. I need a break to figure out what I want my sound to progress to, and I need a break to figure out how I want my visuals to progress.

And then, on top of that, once I postponed [the tour the first time], I couldn’t find two opening acts. I began the search, and to be honest, I never found someone who was available on those dates that I thought was a good fit for the tour.

It just seemed like it was so many things pointing me in the direction of not doing [the tour], that I finally thought, when enough things come your way, you can’t ignore the signs. It was a tough decision to make, but it was the best thing.

Honestly it just sound like ish, I wish she would of just stuck with one answered of why the tour was cancelled and stuck to that. The reason why I don’t think it was the smartest idea for her because Iggy had a major hit on her hands with Fancy and she should’ve ran it into the ground especially with the tour. Now she has to find another hit song, which might not be there, which might also mean that her sophomore album could be shelved like Rita Ora’s, which means no tour.
