I’ve seen some weird smartphone drop tests in the past couple of years, but this has got to be the craziest of all. These guys drops an iPod Touch from 100,000-feet high above the ground. And answer to the question is Yes, this device survives the fall. All thanks to the G-Form’s XTREME iPhone 5 case.
How did they do it? Well, first they’ve sent this iPod touch protected by the G-Form iPhone 5 case to 100,000-feet above using a balloon and blew it up to drop the device. After a long drop, it hits the ground and survives and still works like a charm.
This video was a little confusing at first because the title says iPhone 5 drop but in the description they say it’s an iPod. But, I guess the point here is that even if this was an iPhone 5 it would have survived this fall using the G-Form case. Anyway, it was still a fun thing to watch.
