If David DeCastro is Ready, He Could Start at RG Sunday

His absence creates a void on the offensive line that the team could look to fill with DeCastro, who was activated from the injured reserve list in late November after being sidelined with a knee injury in the preseason.
Tomlin said DeCastro is healthy enough to play and, if he shows he’s ready, could get the start at right guard, where he played in college. Under that scenario, veteran Ramon Foster would swing to left guard because he has more “position flexibility,” Tomlin said.
That would leave the Steelers with two rookies -- DeCastro and tackle Kelvin Beachum -- starting on the right side.

If DeCastro isn’t quite ready for Sunday, the Steelers will likely move All-Pro center Maurkice Pouncey to left guard and start Doug Legursky at center -- something they’ve done the past two games with mixed results.
