Idli-ing Around Jaipur

By India Struthers @India_Alexandra

Samode Haveli, JaipurBreakfast is always my favorite meal of the day, whether I am at home enjoying hot green tea with warm buttery toast (and jam), or if I am on holiday. I especially enjoyed my breakfasts in India as that was when I could also eat the most, and it was fab being reminded of all those fresh summer fruits again! A little selfie before I headed down to breakfast. The sun was shining so brightly, it was hard not to squint in the glare of it although I certainly wasn’t complaining! I wore my navy Zara waistcoat with a simple white tee underneath (H&M) and felt quite the “traveller” with this combo, especially with my camera slung over my shoulder. At the Samode Haveli they have pomegranate trees (yes you read that correctly) in the courtyard where you dine for breakfast and at night, thus, pomegranates are a must first thing. I also discovered a new appreciation for kiwi after so long of not eating it (I don’t know why), and it went deliciously well with pomegranates. But I still absolutely adore my endless supply of green tea first thing too! A few little details around me. Loved their mosaic ...
