Ian Bern Perfects Throwback Rock on ‘Enough’ [Premiere]

We’re always suckers for good old fashioned rock. So when we heard “Enough” the newest track from newcomer Ian Bern, we were immediately all in. The track has the rolling, slacker-ish quality that has been perfected by War on Drugs, but with an extra sense of grit. The track motors along effortlessly on the back of Bern’s throwback guitar – the kind of sound that evokes rock history while still maintaining a firm grip on the present. “Enough” shifts from bluesy rock to more pop – a testament to the knowledge and skill of Bern.
