With the new year it’s time to, of course, make our 2012 resolutions. I don’t take it as an opportunity to wish for almost impossible things but just like a to-do list that I can work on the whole year. I love making to-do lists for anything and everything so it makes sense to write down a few more complicated or long term achievements. So far on my list:
- Trip to Stockholm, this was planned for this first week of January but I prefered to stay in Spain with my family for a little longer. But, I am def. going this year!
- “Finish” learning my Dutch, being able to speak it fluently and get a good job thanks to it.
- Run a marathon: I already applied for NYC’s marathon but it’s the hardest thing ever to get accepted but I also took a look at some travel agencies that prepare special trips to NYC for runners… And what better than a trip to New York and running the marathon? I still have to think about it through tho, but if it’s not that one it will be another one!
- Visit my family more often! In the past 7 months we only saw each other 3 times and I’d love to make it a once a month trip. And we are planning a big trip together for next xmas too! A little soon, I know, but we are def. going somewhere in the Caribbean!
