as i had mentioned on friday, i went on a road trip to run in a race with my friends. the race benefited the special olympics of new york and while we walk/ran the 5k, we were blasted with powdered and wet paint. when we came through the first color station, i was hit right in the face with the blue powder and ended up with a ton of it in my mouth! my teeth were blue and not to be gross or anything, but when i spit to get it out of my mouth, my spit was blue! there was also a section where we had to roll on the ground in the powdered paint - let me tell you, i haven't rolled like that in years and holy cow, was i dizzy! i ended up tripping over my friend jen while trying to get up and ended up back on the ground! the color me rad run was definitely a heck of a time, even if it took almost three rinses to get the paint out of my hair! if you're interested in signing up, you can check here to see if it's coming to a city near you :) did you do anything interesting this past weekend?
