We are getting ever closer to the premiere of the final season of True Blood, for we have made it to the month of March… and depending on where you are in the world, you may be jumping a head a hour.
Baby steps I know, but we are getting closer. I swear on Godric.
So….. While we are ready to start our official countdown in earnest, we may have gotten a clue on when the 7th and final season of True Blood will be on our screens.
Now I know I had speculated when they announced the premiere date of Game of Thrones that True Blood could possibly return on June 15th.
So I put on my sleuth hat and started stalking searching the HBO web site for some sort of indication of “when”… and saw this
See what I see… the first episode from season 6 is slated to show on April 17th at 8 PM…. with a screen cap of Eric
. For those of us who have been around the fandom for a while, we all know they replay the prior season leading up to the new one.So, lets do the math… the season 6 replay is potentially starting April 17th. Season 6 was 10 episodes. The replay could be ending the week of June 19th.
Which means the premiere could be June 22nd…
Of course this is speculation. We won’t know officially till the press release is out for the masses… typically the first week of April.
Or we may have a rare social media sighting by the powers that be on the True Blood Facebook page and @TrueBloodHBO twitter account for the announcement.
While details are slowly coming out about the season, we do know one thing for certain…
Waiting Sucks.
