Not that long ago on one of our delicious sunset evening drinkies, or “sundowners” as they are affectionately known I spied this rather wonderful looking restaurant front. Two questions came to mind 1) How had I not noticed this before? 2) When can I go and sample ? Well, in short, the answers were that it had only opened at the end of May and secondly, a week ago on Friday the troops and I headed down to Newhaven to test it out. Now this isn’t to say that we have abandoned our loyal watering hole, Loch Fyne. What with its marvelous views, refreshing air which happily builds up an appetite and their delicious Marlborough Sauvignon, it’s a place which we won’t miss out. Finishing work promptly at 6pm, the chauffeur came and picked me up and I quickly slid into something more nautically themed. If you’re going to a C-Shack, I think it is then of utmost importance to dress accordingly; Jack Wills stripes, Ralph Lauren blazer and skinny jeans, parfait.
