Guys, summer is in full swing! School is out, people seem a bit more laid back and the heat has definitely set in. These past few days I’ve noticed those calm, quiet moments that summer brings, those fleeting moments where everything is still. The only thing you hear is the warm, sun kissed wind, and it’s simply blissful! This week I’ve been on the go baking desserts and prepping for more this weekend, including a wedding cake. July is already packed with work, so this Independence day weekend I honestly just want to be. It’s not that I don’t want to celebrate, I’ve just been back and forth with parties and get-togethers with more to come, that this weekend I just want to lay low and not have to be “on”. I want to bake a pretty pie, grill, cool off with mule cocktails, relax and enjoy the weekend, otherwise I would totally be having a clam bake! What are your plans for the 4th of July weekend, beach, barbecues, maybe a wedding…However you spend it, hope it’s a fun one!
