It seems like I’ve been MIA lately, hasn’t it? Well, I’ve been more BIA than anything, and nope, it’s not a real term, at least I don’t think so, but Busy In Action, is what I’ve been! This week is going to be another crazy busy one, with lots of Minion decorations to be finished for a birthday on Sunday and a 1st Communion on Saturday with lots of yummy treats, I’ve got to be on my A-game these next few days. But this is the long stretch of a pretty jam packed two and half months. I definitely overloaded events and dessert orders on myself in a short amount of time {like this baby and this bridal shower}, but it was more of a challenge put upon myself to prove that I could succeed through it all. Although, personal life was put on the back burner to make time for all the work I had to do, it will be worth it in the end. After all, being crazy busy is a great sign, especially if you own your own business, and are trying to build it.
But I’m not going to lie, I CANNOT wait for next Monday! I’ll finally be able to relax and not work around the clock. Work will be more consistent and spread out, and I can finally tackle the redesign of the website and some other Dreamery projects I haven’t had the time to do. I can’t wait to spring clean {yes I know, who looks forward to cleaning after working so much, but it’s pure enjoyment for me}, tour gardens that are finally beginning to bloom and look beautiful, tend to my own garden, whip up some new recipes, and actually enjoy the weekends! I do have lots of pretty things to share with you soon, but in the meantime here’s a bit of what I’m Loving….
Guys, these are paper flowers…yes, you heard me, PAPER FLOWERS! Aren’t they seriously the most gorgeous things ever. For a bride looking to save money on her wedding day, these blooms are just as stunning as the real deal. top image via Ruffled
You’ve most definitely not seen a tent wedding like this! There’s something just so magical and easy going about everything, and of course oh so bohemian! via Refinery 29I simply can’t stop swooning over the Marchesa Spring/Summer 2017 bridal collection. I mean I’m just smitten over every beautiful gown! via Green Wedding ShoesFellow Anna Sheffield lovers, did you happen to see this preview of the new collection. Her stuff just gets lovelier and lovelier. via InstagramIt was about time something was invented to help brides use the restroom without her posy all up in her business. Now there’s the bridal buddy! via Bridal Buddy
I want/need these frilly tassel sandals! The price may be pushing it, but they might need to be an early birthday gift for myself. via AnthroplogieI’m headed to Firefly Festival this summer to celebrate my birthday, and I’m already thinking of what fashion I’ll be rocking, including these pretty reverse headbands. via The Beauty DepartmentI’ve always had a thing for rattan touches in the home, it somehow makes a room feel tropical, like a getaway. I’ve lately been loving the look of rattan daybeds, either as extra seating in an office or in this adorable nursery. via Greige DesignI’ve been cleaning the house with vinegar for some time, but it does leave the house smelling, well, not so clean. After this upcoming weekend I plan on making these herb infused cleaners for a much fresher smelling house. via The KitchnIf you happen to follow me on Pinterest, you would think I was expecting, nope, just having major baby fever. But how beautiful is this maternity photo shoot?! via Praise WeddingI can’t, tiny tree houses for your plants! via Apartment TherapyI’ve totally been slacking on cooking and baking new recipes. I’ve just been so busy with events, that I just haven’t had the time, but there’s a brioche in the freezer that is just waiting to be stuffed with peanut butter and jelly, and baked into bread pudding! via Honestly YumThey might not be as big as the elephants, but we’ve got a serious bee problem! As in we are losing a significant amount of these very important creatures. This is just one of the many simple ways you can save one of Earth’s valuable animals. via Free People
For the past few years I’ve been dying to go to Firefly, but somehow I’ve always had something going on the same weekend, but not this year! With some of my favorite bands performing, there was no way I was going to miss out. So for the last two months I’ve been listening to some great Indie and Alternative bands, gearing up for a great musical weekend in June. Isn’t Addison Scott’s new one so much fun for summer!
