In the summer I am a dress girl. They’re easy and cool. Yet, lately, I found myself pining for an easy summer pant that, not were not a cargo exactly, but one that had that type of weekend function.
When I thought about going on the hunt for a pair pants like this I got queasy. The idea of having to rummage through racks and racks of pants to find something like this, that was the right color, fit well and didn’t cost a fortune I realized was another reason why my summer wardrobe had become so dress-heavy. Sure, I wanted a pair of easy pants but I really didn’t want to look for them, nor did I want to have the meltdown when I couldn’t find a pair that made the lower half of my body look halfway decent.

Not only did they save me from the stress and wasted time I would have endured had I gone out looking for a pair like this on my own, but they sent me exactly what I was looking for– a comfortable, easy weekend pant. On Saturday night, I wore them out for a casual dinner cropped with a cute top and a pair of my wedge sandals and then on Sunday, I grabbed them again with a tank top and my Fit Flops to do Sunday errand sorts of things. I loved the versatility.
Here is what I like about them:
- First, they fit my body like a glove. The rise sits at the true waist so they’re comfortable and I don’t have to deal with unsightly muffin top or showing my butt crack when I bend.
- The fabric is lightweight and breathable! As humid as it was yesterday, I was cool as a cucumber in these pants all day long.
- They’re easy care. I just throw them in the washer and dryer.
- Best of all, they have UPF 50+ sun protection that will never wash out!
The pants come in three colors, Olivewood (pictured above), Grey and Dust Stone. The pants are adjustable and have button tabs that can convert the full length to capris (as shown above) to clam diggers. That’s three pants in one!
