Dress : c/o Mina / Boots : Carvela / Scarf : Urban outfitters via charity shop / Satchel : c/o brand village / Bobble hat : PrimarkA little while back i received this beautiful dress from Mina UK. It perfectly combines leopard print, velvet & a peter pan collar into one perfect must-have item! The typical shape of the dress is a shift style, however i used a simple black belt to define my waist! It's a soft cotton material, with a silky lining, making it a rather snuggly & warm piece for the colder months! I teamed it with a tartan scarf & red satchel to give a little contrast (I initially had my bobble hat on too, but then i took it off) and just HAD to wear my amazing new Carvela boots because i really couldn't wait any longer to show you all! I'm sure i'm not the only one who struggles to wear brown boots with black tights, but i just thought 'Why not?' - and went for it. I know both the colours can clash at times, but regardless, i'm happy with how the outfit looks! What do you think? ... Because of all the colours in the outfit, i kept my makeup very minimal too (surprising considering how much i love a red lip at the minute) and chose a slightly golden eye & a nude/pink lip! - oohlaalaa.
I hope you all had a wonderful New year! I had 2 nights of 'partying', no sleep & copious amounts of alcohol, but despite the fact i'm only just recovered (embarassing, i know) I had an amazing time! Yesterday was spent drinking tea, eating chocolate & watching P.S I love you (hence The Pogues song lyrics as the post title) and I'm off to my dads tomorrow with my sister for christmas no.2 so expect to see some blog posts of my time down there this week!
