It will be June next week. Let that sink in.
I have completed 12 weeks in “isolation” now. I went into quarantine two weeks earlier than most people because I had traveled outside the country when COVID-19 blew up and hence decided to take self-precautionary steps.
In the past months I have been and continue to go through a whole gamut of emotions. In the end though I always land on ‘staying still’ and being in the moment as much as possible.
Weirdly enough I have truly fallen in love with myself in the time of COVID-19. I had always enjoyed my own company. But now I also like myself as a human being. I am happy with who I have turned out to be so far, with all my flaws included. When I look at myself in the mirror, I actually like what I see; inside-out!
Life never got me down much, not for more than a few hours at-a-stretch at least. But one of my constant fears was being “lonely”. Now I am realizing that actually I am way more resilient than I ever myself credit for. Everything I have started or quit, I have given-up on or taken-on ... has been a lesson, a path towards growth and self-discovery. And what a fulfilling journey it has been so far ...
So on days when I feel lost, or find myself stepping towards an abyss of negativity I try and remind myself of everything I have learned, everything I have to be grateful for, everything that has made my life wonderful so far ... If things have worked-out so far, they most probably will in the future too ...

Few things to I have made peace with:
- Only my own actions and reactions are in my control
- No one else gets to decide what I want from my life
- I owe no one any explanation, what-so-ever
