Let’s Talk Waist Training for Weight Loss
Ahh.. Waist Training! Unless you are living under a rock, you know that celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose and more swear by this waist slimming method. Well today I will talk about my experiences with wearing waist training corset for weight loss.
The Waist Trainer is 100+ Years Old
Waist training has been around for centuries. But of course it has become mainstream as celebs take to social media (in particular instagram) to strut their waist-busting corsets.
Just like wearing braces for the first time or breaking in a new pair of shoes, waist training corsets takes some getting use to.
Who Wouldn’t Want a Teeny, Tiny Waist
When I thought about trying this trend, I debated on whether or not I believed it. But who wouldn’t want a tiny waist? Even if it didn’t work, it is definitely worth the try, right?!?!? I started my waist training routine about 1 week ago. I’ve committed to wearing my waist training corset every night. When I wake up in the mornings and squeeze into my jeans, I must say that buttoning them up is much, much easier! But that’s expected. After sleeping in the waist clincher all night, my waist is much slimmer even if it’s temporary.
Benefits to Waist Training
Waist training has other benefits besides a 24-inch waist. Although that is what it is most publicized for. Waist corsets help with spinal support and promotes good posture. Yeah, good posture is important too. Hmmm…Just not as exciting.
Starting a Routine
At first wearing my waist training corsets was so uncomfortable.
I couldn’t lie down.
I couldn’t sit up straight.
Honestly, I felt like I couldn’t breathe.
But it eventually went away…. And wearing the waist trainer became normal. Just like wearing braces for the first time or breaking in a new pair of shoes, waist training takes some getting use to.
