Dutch indie folk artist I am Oak, nom-de-plume of Thijs Kuijken, has released a new single. The Way I See It is a slow moving song, filled with melancholy as he tries to come to terms with false expectations and trying to find an open ear for his point of view. The delicate interplay of acoustic guitar and muffled drums is spot on as always.
The Way I See It is released via Snowstar Records. It is a track from his forthcoming album Time Drifts, due for release on April 4, 2025.
