Hypergear: What Are We Going to Do with These? (Suffering: A Guide for Empathy)

Italian alternative electronic rock trio Hypergear is now a solo act. Singer and guitarist Sascha Giordano cites differences in "priorities" as the main reason in a vlog. The departure of his band mates did not slow him down that much and the 3-track EP What Are We Going to Do with These? (Suffering: A Guide for Empathy) is the last stop before the release of a full album.

The EP kicks off with the previously released single Aftershine [3rd Zone] , followed by the introspective Sober and the soul-searching Persona. It is obvious that the break-up of the band found his way into the music, now that he is left to his own devices. The main theme is still the advancement of technology, with all its pros and cons, but now it's way more personal. There are cracks in the bravado posturing. Hypergear still has a future, but he will have find his bearings to set a new course to keep on going.

What Are We Going to Do with These? (Suffering: A Guide for Empathy) is a self-released EP, available via all the usual digital outlets.
