When I came across Nazir Ekhlass' shot a couple of years ago, I was moved to tears. It was a rare moment of awe that I hadn't experienced since my trip to Syria.
As I share this picture with you today, that feeling hasn't left me. The emotion is still there, potent and overpowering.
