For many many – this martial arts exponent was a legendary heartthrob – his fitness and exhibition of strength were incredible.  Fate has other ideas and sometimes cruel.

Hu embraces eternal rest !!

He was very active in social media and on Feb 19 posted a photo of his at Warsaw; a week or so later, he was distributing medals to winners of U15 Recurve and compound events at TN State Archery Championships at Sairam Engg College, then there were some travel within the country by air .. .. .. and then, news of his ailment came, fought for a shortwhile and read that sadly, he is no more.

He was a real multi-faceted genius : Artist (many would not accept his drawing with blood though!); film actor, Coach of Karate, Kobudo and Archery, Sculptor, did Masters in painting at MFA., did research in ancient sculpture, studied BSc Zoology, did Journalism, Social work, tried hand in guidance and counseling and .. .. was very very strong mentally too.

A month or so back, he posted on social media of his blood samples turning wrong and being diagnosed with blood cancer, his platelets counts went down drastically and slowly he embraced death with strength.

He made some fervent appeals to film actors including Vijay, Pawan Kalyan and others, to State Govt and to many – not many came forward.  Some did, some offered help – and he had to announce sale of the iconic building where he lived, practised and taught Karate & Archery to students.  In that house, he had installed statues, sculptures, demonstrated several world records in human endurance, conducted art exhibitions and press meets.  He had bought that building in 1998 and by his living turned it a landmark one.  The house facing Bay Bengal situate closer to  Besant Nagar  Ashtalakshmi temple went on sale, not sure whether he could found takers matching his financial expectations
