HTC had announced about unlocked bootloaders in May. But never updated us with any information with it.
HTC has finally issued an updated statement on unlocked bootloaders, promising that they will start rolling out unlocked bootloaders to a select few smartphones from August 2011 onwards.
Globally released HTC Sensation would be the first device to get it along with the HTC Sensation 4G on T-Mobile and the HTC EVO 3D on Sprint.
